In 1994 the first Toyota RAV4 started out as a beach car and the first generation crossover was more suited to students than couples. Over the years, the car has become more solid and serious, and the look of the updated RAV4 does seem harsh.
In life, the new appearance is more futuristic than aggressive, the abundance of LEDs in optics does not scare, but rather attracts. Even though I personally did not really like the style of the new front end, in contrast to the updated interior, which has become softer in the truest sense of the word. It was not possible to completely abandon hard plastic, but even the door trim is delicate and pleasant to the touch.
An updated instrument panel is installed on all versions, which received a color on-board computer with a 4.2-inch screen. In the center is a large 7-inch second-generation Toyota Touch multimedia system monitor with improved graphics. The crossover has become quieter, because there are 3 kg more soundproofing materials, but we will find out later.
Among the innovations is a surround view system consisting of four cameras - in the radiator grille, a rear-view camera and one each in the side mirror housings. The image from them will help to park the car in difficult conditions, and it will help off-road.

- - version with all-wheel drive and stepless variator CVT, with a gasoline four-cylinder engine with a volume of 1987 cm3 (151 hp at 6200 rpm and 195 Nm at 4000 rpm).
