Toyota Land Cruiser Prado - All-wheel drive SUV. The car is offered in both five- and seven-seater versions. The first generation Prado was introduced in 1987, when the company decided to gradually transfer the Land Cruiser from the expedition category to the premium segment. Prado, on the other hand, was supposed to continue off-road traditions, which is why it received the same name with the older model, although it was built on a pickup truck platform Toyota Hilux (4Runner).

In Ukraine, the fourth generation Prado is offered, which debuted in 2009. In the new generation, the model has become outwardly similar to the last one. Toyota Land Cruiser 200, and in top trim levels it may well claim the title of a luxury car, while retaining serious off-road capabilities. The Prado is available with a premium multimedia system with 14 speakers, several leather interior options, three-zone climate control, a surround view system, which is provided by four video cameras and other options typical of the luxury segment. An even more premium version of the model is available on the Ukrainian market - Lexus GX, which is the twin brother of Prado.

The range of engines is opened by a 163-horsepower four-cylinder petrol engine 2.7 VVT-i. The most powerful installation for the Prado is the 282-horsepower 4.0 Dual VVT-i six-cylinder engine. As an alternative to gasoline units, a three-liter diesel engine (173 hp and 410 Nm) is offered.

Gearboxes for Toyota Land Cruiser Prado are only automatic. The 2.7-liter engine is paired with a four-speed transmission, and the 4-liter engine and diesel are aggregated with a five-speed gearbox.

Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is supplied to the Ukrainian market from Japan.
