Toyota Land Cruiser Prado - the fourth generation (J150) of an all-wheel drive SUV has been produced since 2009. In 2013, the model experienced the first significant update, and in 2017 - the second.
Despite the fact that Toyota called the 2017 Land Cruiser Prado new, in fact it is a restyled version of the time-tested model. The frame, suspension, steering system, engines, permanent all-wheel drive and the Torsen center differential remained unchanged, and the Japanese made the main emphasis on the design of the car. Updated LC Prado looks more like a "senior" Land Cruiser 200 - the radiator grille is decorated with expanded vertical sections, the structure of the headlights and fog lamp sections has been changed.
The hood of the updated SUV and the front fenders are profiled so that the driver has better control of the front edge of the car when maneuvering. When looking at the SUV from the side, it is noticeable that the top point of the front bumper is now placed higher, and the hood, fender, front and rear bumpers are aligned horizontally. Finally, the configuration of the rear lights with LED brake lights and the design of light alloy wheels (17 or 18 inches, depending on the configuration) have been changed. With the preserved wheelbase of 2790 mm and ground clearance of 215 mm, the total body length increased by 60 mm to 4840 mm.
The twice restyled LC Prado differed from the original model in improved geometric cross-country ability: approach angle - 31 degrees, exit - 25 degrees, ramps - 22 degrees.
In addition to the exterior, the interior of the popular SUV in Ukraine has been seriously changed. The upper point of the center console is placed lower, the optotronic instrument panel is complemented by a new 4.2-inch TFT display. The steering wheel of the updated model was inherited from the “dvuhsotki”, instead of the transmission mode rocker, a large rotary controller is now installed, and in the center there is an 8.0-inch touchscreen display of the Toyota Touch 2 media system, and in the top equipment it is supplemented with a JBL audio system with 14 speakers and a subwoofer. In addition, for some trim levels, ventilation of the front seats and a new all-round visibility system have become available, and the side mirrors now automatically tilt when reversing.
In Ukraine, the reformed Land Cruiser Prado is available with a 6-speed automatic. Engines:

The standard Eco, Normal and Sport driving modes in the restyled car are complemented by new Sport S and Sport S+ presets. They affect the force on the steering wheel, as well as the operation of the adaptive suspension, which is installed in the most expensive Premium version.

The basic equipment of the Land Cruiser Prado for the Ukrainian market includes five airbags and side curtain airbags, a hill start assist system, a central limited slip differential with forced locking. There are also electrically adjustable positions and three-mode heated front seats, a rear-view camera, cruise control, heated windshield in the wiper area, electric heating and folding exterior mirrors, climate control, a media system with an 8.0-inch display and 9 speakers and other equipment.
