Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2014 is an all-wheel drive SUV, the fourth generation of which debuted in 2009. The company presented a restyled version of the model at the end of summer 2013. The exterior of the car was refreshed with new bumpers, a false radiator grille, and LED inserts under the headlights.
In addition, the changes affected the interior and chassis of the car. Both the standard suspension with double wishbones at the front and four at the rear, as well as the version with the electronically controlled suspension Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System, which changes the stiffness of the shock absorbers depending on the road surface, have undergone modernization. Vibration and noise insulation was improved by installing rubber seals in the places where the body is attached to the frame.
The most significant update in the interior was received by the center console of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, where the keys for controlling the downhill assistance systems and adjusting the stiffness of hydraulic shock absorbers, as well as locks, were moved. In addition, a color display is now available for the dashboard, which, among other information, can show roll angles.
The list of Toyota Land Cruiser Prado equipment has been replenished with a heated multifunctional steering wheel, additional rear and side view cameras with a blind spot monitoring system, as well as collision warning when reversing from a parking lot.
All modifications Land Cruiser Pradodelivered to the Ukrainian market are all-wheel drive and equipped with automatic transmissions. The model is offered in both five- and seven-seater versions.
The Land Cruiser Prado's new exterior design combines stylish aesthetics with the trusted image of ruggedness and power you'd expect from a true all-wheel drive vehicle. The vehicle's exterior combines a high-mounted front end, integrated headlamps and a grille with a vertical, two-stage design that enhances Toyota's off-road character, reliability and exceptional off-road performance. The redesigned grille and straight-line headlamps are combined into a single structure that looks more powerful; headlamps have been raised higher to provide improved component protection while driving off-road.
The increase in dimensions of the new Prado has been kept to a minimum, allowing it to retain its excellent mobility both on and off the road.
The profile of the car is enhanced by 17-inch (6-spoke) and 18-inch (12-spoke) wheels in a new design. The new Prado comes in ten body colors to choose from, including 4 new colors: Attitude Black Mica (black), Bronze Mica Metallic (bronze), Dark Green Mica (dark green) and Dark Blue Mica (dark blue).
